The Party Was a Success!

Hello fellow wizards! Well, thanks to Friendly, the party was a total success! There were so many wizards in Ravenwood, my screen was freezing up! And I was getting swarmed left and right! But it was all well worth it. I have thrown parties ... and then I have thrown PARTIES! Take a look ....

The party was really fun. We had Mount races, Foot Races, and Backwards footraces all around Ravenwood! I am glad all you guys came! And I hope we all will get to do this next year or sooner! Thanks for coming!

Isaiah Spelldust's Best Bazaar Buy's --Part 1--

Welcome to a new series of mine, it's called Isaiah's Best Bazaar Buy's. Here's what I do. Each time I do a part, it's for a different School. Such as Balance, Storm etc. Then, I go to the Bazaar, and see what the strongest and best combination is for a hat, coat, and shoes. And of course for that specific school. These combinations aren't for pvp, most likely would be best used in quest-doing, or, if you have to kill a certain amount of enemies for a badge. Ok, let's get down to business; today, I will do the Balance school buy's from the Bazaar. Let's start with the hat.

( Note: if you can't see the image, click on it, and it'll enlarge. )

The best Balance hat that I found was Shadowmark's Shroud of Service, and of course there is a lvl limit. ( lvl 45 ) It's good for a power pip boost, for quick attacks. And a good defense against balance.

__________________________________________

Here is the coat that I picked for another Best Balance Buy.

The Wrap of Equity kind of goes with the hat. ( In terms of stats AND looks :) It has a very good max health ( +360 ) And again, it has a good power pip percentage and balance-defense ( hmm same as hat? ) Again, you have to be balance in order to wear these. Hence it saying "balance school only."

____________________________________

And lastly, here are the shoes. ( Sorry, but the shoes in the picture aren't the ones that are highlighted. It was fine when I took the screenshot, but I think a glitch happened at the last second and I didnt know about it..... Oh well. )

Aha! Look at these! You only have to be lvl 44 to wear this. These are the Steady Sandals of Woe. ( Thank goodness they aren't a crown item. ) They have a fair max health, and a good line of "protective-percentages" they may not be as much, but they will go along and help with what you need to do. ( Quest-seeking and all that. )

Well, that's Isaiah Spelldust's Best Buy's Part 1 : Balance

Oh, and while I am here, here are a couple updated pictures I took this morning. ( Edited a little bit :)

Till next time!

Back from the Tourney!

Sorry I haven't been posting in a couple days. I was just very busy with all this other stuff. But now I can finally tell you how the Tournament went! Well, I mostly guided, and made sure people were following the rules. I showed up around when it started:

As you can see, people were already starting to enter in at their bracket time. Man, at that time of day, there were so many players online, it was crazy! Anyway's after I did a little guiding around, me and my friends decided to swing on over to the Storm Lord real quick to pay a visit:

After that, I decided what the hey, and went on over for the Free for All bracket during the end of the Tournament and played a couple rounds. I would like to thank Fallon Shadowblade for putting on and handling/scheduling such a big event! Keep on playing Fallon! As for me, I am going to head on over to the arena, or wherever the Spiral takes me.

Till next time!

Merry Almost X-mas From Defenders Inc.!

Hello fellow wizards! It's almost Christmas, and you know what that means in Wizard 101; an "Almost-X-mas post!" I decided to make this because I thought it would be good for the announcements I am making. ( Some of them you have probably already heard.) First, the Christmas Decor is up in the Commons like last year, and I managed to get a good picture of me in front of the tree. ( It took me a couple times to get the right screenshot because I was getting friend requests left and right! lol):

And as you know, Felix Navidad is in town! You can get crowns items from him in the shopping district. I got the Santa suit last year, but not this year. I am saving up for a balance house!

Also, Defenders Inc. Is scheduled to have an Almost X-mas party on December 22! I will have a poster and more info for you guys tomorrow. ( Which I will of course put in a post :) Well, until next time! ~Isaiah Spelldust

A couple things ...

First off, I finally got a better banner than that other one. Thanks Photoshop! Secondly, I have been out badge hunting lately. Mostly in Dragonspyre, because that's where most of my needed badges are. Such as Technomancer, and the Draconian Bane. I was just fighting some elementals with my friend as you can see on the right in the Plaza of Conquests. I think once a wizard is done with everything else in the game, that wizard should focus on PvP and Badge collecting. Umbra Sword

I went to Wal-Mart today, and came across the Beckett Magazine ( completely unexpected, it wasnt even in the magazine section! ) and got the Umbra Sword code. It is a really cool sword but, I dont like the damage ( *shudder* takes me back to days of Krokotopia ). Other than that, its pretty good. I would give you a couple pictures of it but frankly Fraps hasnt been working properly for me lately. But when I get it working I'll whip out a couple sreenshots of it.

Post-ending Signatures

You all know what I end each post with. The usual "~" and "Isaiah Spelldust" well, I did a little W101 Blogosurfing and found out it want just me with ending things like mine. Homework In A Graveyard uses "Be well." after each post I've noticed. We all well know that Friendly uses his famous "Happy Dueling!". I like what Sean Emeraldweaver uses after each post. He does his name and leaves what level he was when he did that post. Like a little "Levelog" or something. And Valerian over at his School for Wayward Wizards has his "Valerian and Vale" thing going on. I think it's important when you run a blog that when you are finished with each post you have some Signature to end with. It "defines" you, makes you unique. It gives you blog it's own personality. And soon when your blog has a good rep, and you post often, then end signature becomes sort of like a habit. That's my opinion on this. I got my little tilde Signature idea originally from Greyrose every time I got an e-mail from her, or when she is done writing something on the Wizard101 Forum. So, if you are going to start a blog, make up a little ending thing at the end. So when you send a comment to someone else or a message, you might accidentally put down your ending cause your so used to it. That's okay, you should do that so they could recognize who it was or something like that. Hope you got something outta this. Well, I am going to go see The Half-Blood Prince. I heard it was really good!

Theme Park Idea

Hello wizards. This post today is another idea by me about the game Wizard 101. This idea would be good I think. You know the Fairgrounds in the Commons right? Well, what if it was like a theme park. Or like had an entrance to one. And every attraction had a different game. But, the catch is you need "Wiztickets" to play most of these games. These Wiztickets could be found in treasure chests, or maybe in boss battles.

Now, varying on which type of ride varies how many tickets it costs. If it's a really good attraction, then the prizes you could win would be more rare and powerful. Say if it's a free ride, then you would probably might get like lvl 5 gear and things of that sort. The highest level ride there would be would cost maybe 7-10 tickets. Which would have stronger winning gear ( level 45-50).

And maybe you could find vendors all over the spiral that sell things like Wiztickets and maybe special passes that get you onto specific rides. For each ride would be a different game. And it maybe a little difficult for KI to come up with more games but they could pull it off. They could use some of the games they already have setup and use them for a couple rides. I have a couple suggestions for games.

- A game where you have to mix certain things in a potion or a cauldron. But you would be timed andif you messed up you would have to start all over again.

-A game for high level wizards called Flying Drake; you sit upon a drake and have to dodge certain obstacles. You collect things along the way to gain points. The more points you get the better the prize.

Just a couple ideas to think about. I got to thinking about this after I came back from Cedar Point.

Yup, that's the Top Thrill Dragster. Probably the most fastest and highest roller coaster I've ever seen and ridden. If you havent heard about it, it launches you 0-120 mph in 4 seconds, then climbs a whopping 420 feet. Stops a little at the top, and plunges down. Both the up and down "rises and falls" of this coaster are directly vertical ( except for the turns at the top.). If you are a thrill seeker, I recommand riding it. I think my stomach is still up at the top.
That's todays post!

Final Day? Maybe not . . .

Hello wizards! Sorry I havent been posting; I have been busy with marching band and things. Well, this MIGHT be the last day for comic entries. From the looks of the e-mails, I might extend the date to give a chance for more entries. Well, you can expect more posts flowing in! Hope you get those comics in.

Valarian's Wizard Graveyard

Hello fellow wizards. Sorry for not posting; I was at Cedar Point! Yup, riding rides, cotton candy, riding those same rides again ( nauseating a bit ), etc. Well, I am back in business. Here is the post for today. If you may not know, Valarian over at his School for Wayward Wizards has a thing call the Wizard Graveyard. And I think it's a good idea for fallen wizards' companians to post about them. I havent had anyone go yet, but if I do, that would be the place to go. Maybe you want to ask why another person killed you. Or why they killed your companian. So it's kind of like a virtual funeral home as much as a graveyard? I dont know. Just a guess. Well, that's todays post. It's not much. I need to find more things to put into words for you guys. Maybe another comparison? We'll see.

Public Apology

Hello fellow Bloggers, Wizards, and Friends. I just want to take time on this post to fix up a few things. I want to make an apology to the guys over at Wizard101 Central for what I did. I didn't mean for that to happen. I guess I got a little carried away with it, and I saw what was on central. Just to let Central know I have deleted those posts, and I'll never do that again. I mean, Central is an AWESOME site, no lie. They have accumulated members ever since the beginning, and have been humble to Wizard101 and Kings Isle. It was my mistake that made them look bad and I am sorry. I hope we'll ( Me and Central ) could keep the peace and keep on gaming. But most of all I would like to apologize to Iron Hawk over at Central. He was the Real Wizard behind the boss drops. All I did was basically copy. It was wrong, I admit. But, we all make mistakes once and a while. And I really, really, really, hope you all could forgive me. I'll never do that again and I hope things work out.

You Wizardly Friend,

Wizard 101 World Comparisons - - Krokotopia Vs. Cairo, Egypt

Todays Comparisons aren't Creatures, But World ones. ( I know, Cairo isn't a world but it's a place. ) First I'll show you the world we see almost everyday, give it up folks for Krokotopia!

*Applause*

Now as you can see, Krokotopia was based allot off of Egypt, but KI made a couple changes. Such as Pyramids, sandstorms, "Kroko"sphinxs, temples, and more. But usually with the prefix "Kroko" in front of it ( for example "Kroko"htep, "Kroko"topia, "Kroko"sphinx, etc. ) And of course the looks and names of the Bosses were based on Egyptian kings.

Krokopatra, which had dress like most queens of Egypt. Krokopatra seems to be a run-off of Cleopatra, well, since they do have the same "patra". Here is a picture of CleoPatra.

I know, they look nothing alike considering Krokopatra is an Alligator basically! Oh, and by the way, Krokopatra is the last boss in Krokotopia, in case you were wondering. OK, back to the Comparison. Here is the Pyramid of the Sun from the Game, on the top-right of the map.

Now here is another Pyramid, or Pyramids in Cairo, Egypt. They are Called the Giza Pyramids.

You can say that they are the same considering that all Egyptian Pyramids look the same. Now on the the whole Sphinx deal. You know that Krokotopia has the famous Krokosphinx. Well, here is the Wizard 101 one.

The head of this Sphinx of course is a Krok. But an ancient and original Sphinx usually has something else for a head . . .

It looks like the former king of Giza, dont you think? Aside from the broken nose . . . But still an amazing place to visit! It would be awesome to go there. I'll go there someday and bring back pictures :) I would do the tomb of storms but I wouldnt know what to compare it to. So that's it for now folks! Hope you liked today's comparison!
More to Come!
